Tomorrow it starts, now I’m not the christmasyest person out there certainly nowhere near Kelly at magnetoboldtoo whith her many Christmas trees or car at carrose-creative who has been xounting down since last christmas the button will take you to sign ups on her blog but hey i’ll give it a go least I can do is a post a day even if it’s not season related best is every post plus a few being related to the upcoming holiday

On top of this we are 3day toilet training this few days
Day1 not too bad, could tell she was holding on almost all day so only 3 full on wet pants and a poo (so gross) before bedtime so far only the slightest dribble in the pot which may have been residual water from washing it out but hey even close should be rewarded ……. We will see what the night brings

Off to bed for this tired duck

It’s almost 0230, two hours ago he was going to lock the shed and come to bed…….. Am I really that bad that not only does he simply not want to cuddle but he takes over two hours to come and snuggle in bed with me, I know my jelly belly feels weird, I know I’m not the somewhat fit size 12 that I was but is it really that bad that he won’t come and cuddle in with me to make up for doing nothing about my birthday, it’s not like it’s gonna cost anything or it’s too early to be bed time…….. Am I destined to be forever waiting for a little non sexual physical affection? Maybe it’s just another phase, maybe I’m being overly sensitive, or maybe he just doesn’t know or care anymore

So far today has consisted of being told 1230 is too early to be in bed when you are starting work at 9, waking up to ….. Are you going to work or what at 645 and right now I can smell a pooey nappy and it’s just her and I up

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, and I’m too lazy to go back and look but I am in the process of applying for an upgrade ….. They still don’t know how many of this new position they want or when they start but it is worth quiet a bit more than I am paid now and if I don’t get in I haven’t lost anything

Last Wednesday was the psychometric test followed by role play so that they could see the skills that we have and areas we need to work on apparently I freaked out about that for days and days and almost didn’t go but was fine when I turned up and saw someone I know

This Wednesday was the interview another lot of panicing and stressing the questions we had were very difficult lots asking about situations that don’t arise in our workplace but probably will after the reform is completed so I had no experiance in but that probably means no one else has either

So now we play the waiting game wait and see what happens supposedly by march next year we will be fully reformed and they will know who and how many they want

Saturday was our annual social night, at the glenmore in the rocks, they have a rooftop bar which is a little scarey, everyone had a really good time, some didn’t make it to work today

I eventually was escorted to the right train, my boys worry about me too much and I’ll admit perhaps there were a few too many schooners involved but it was all paid for by our social club Friday BBQ and there was plenty of great food floating around too Oh and an awseome view

I seem to have caught something, it may be that I have caught the bug miss has, or perhaps just that since the coffee I had on Monday night made me feel sick I haven’t touched any coffee at all, but I feel absolutly rubbish, I have the worst head ache and every now and then I feel like I either should sit on The loo or lean over it but nothing comes of doing either ……… Any way back to the toddler, I got home from work and crashed on the lounge miss was very good about it, she got herself a drink from the fridge for me to open and occasionally came and snuggled or just gave me a quick hug and kiss then back to putting the bear in the bus and talking about the bunny rabbit or the horses or whatever was on tv……..eventually my quiet dozing turned into sleeping, now I don’t quite remember what woke me up but when I did there was an empty bread packet on the floor with pieces of bread scattered on the lounge ….. Hmmm I think did we get hungry baby….. Figure I should think about dinner not that I felt like eating anything, the clean nappies wer scattered on the floor, that was kinda expected, oh I remember now I woke up because she was climbing on me….. Bare bummed ….. So her wet nappy was also on the floor but still pretty good, then I got up and the kitchen was pretty good, but in the laundry the fridge was wide open, well I suppose that was where the drink came from but on the floor at fridge door was a sixpack box of eggs with no eggs in it….. Then I realised that there was egg on the floor too but no shell, further investigation found the shell in a million pieces on the carpet in the hall ………… No wonder she was going on about “broke it” …… So I got a little sleep and the mess was not a complete disaster but I think next time i’ll go back to closing us in her room while I nap….. And maybe decide to nap before it just happens

Welcome to Melbourne cup day ………. apparently in Melbourne there is a public holiday , now I’m not sure if this is just Melbourne something like when the G8 thing was in sydney or the whole state of Victoria but you wouldn’t know it by the traffic this morning, yesterday I left at just before 8 and got to work at 845 today I left just after 830 mostly because of a not very well miss and not feeling ao great myself ….. Anyway I got to work right on 9 am, so there is very little traffic just like a public holiday would have
On top of the traffic quite a few have gone sick or taken the day off
So in reality even though the race stops the nation for 5-10 minutes it oficially only stops a city completely ……… Prehaps in an effort to reduce sick days it should become an official public holiday nation wide ……………. Hahahaha now that’s dreaming
