well the stress is over for another year hopefully next year it will be more accepted that we will be staying at our house , I tried to convince the boy today that next year we should just go and drop in on all of the rellies for an hour or so … it started a small arguement apparently because we went to see my grandad tonight just for 1hr we didn’t stay home and the world can get f….d with making him do what they want and not caring how he feels about it …….*sigh* my grandfather is not very well he is suddenly very thin and his once booming voice has gone soft and sweet , I could think of nothing worse than not seeing him this christmas if any …. he was surprised at how much miss has grown watching her push a chair around my aunties backyard

anyway it was a lovely day

this is what I am going to be stuck with on NYE

I’m very not impressed after the boy carrying on because he didn’t want to go to the family party so he was going to miss out on his daughters birthday then deciding since we arent doing the family christmas a compromise is to go to the party its me who misses out on everything  it’s not fair at all its the two nights that really matter to me having them off and I’m stuck not only working but working night shift …… I am considereing locking myself in a cupboard for tyhe next 3 weeks and refusing to go anywhere untill its all over and done with I’m not sure how that one will go over though

here I am very proud of myself because I got just about all of my christmas shopping done in one evening yay me …… lets see

for miss there is a few things a couple for the boy one for mum I know what dad wants I got that today instead tonight I realise I have nothing for my lil bro  oops I haven’t even thought of anything

then there is the niece and nephew I left that up to the boy since technically they are his rellies not mine well here we are 1 week away and he just starts thinking about it now luckily I have some Ideas up my sleeve that I want to try so he is now in  charge of finding a colouring in book for the nephew and a nice T-shirt for the niece I might end up having to do that too I have made a skirt and tomorrow will be making a pencil roll for the nephew  phew

now what am I going to do about my bro

on top of all of this the boy is again saying we must stay home for christmas no going anywhere ppl want to see us they can come to us …. I am working on this one the family are putting alot of pressure on for us to go to the family thing  i hate that there is nothing we can do he has conceded that we will go to the family NYE celebrations as a compromise for not going to christmas they should be talking to him about this not me I really am thinking working christmas day would be good just to get away from it all even better if I had holidays and we went away for the week

almost all done in one night

mis is getting a little chair for the lounge room a pair of sunnies a bicycle helmet and if I get it in time a weeride bicycle seat or mybe I should suggest it to mum and dad or get it for her birthday we will see

mum is getting russel hobbs salt and pepper mills

dad is getting a money clip

the boy is getting a new self inflating mat for his swag and if I get time a new wallet with triumph stamped into it

not sure about my brother might find a nice shirt

anyway everything I got in one night is wraped and under the tree ….. miss likes the way the paper crinkles when you touch it

welll …. it was rainy and cloudy and a couple of nights there was even a storm but gee it was great to get away

we fed the birds at the holiday park

and the kangaroos at the koala park 

and patted a koala

and miss was spoiled with chocolate custard and read stories by grandma

we are thinking coff harbour next feb for the boy lilly and I hopefully then it will be nice and sunny
